Childsplay, our very own toyshop, has now been open for over a year and what a busy year it has been. Following a successful launch in 2008 we decided to re-launch our shop this Easter in bigger premises and we are now located at the back of the plant area in the large wooden building next to the play area.
In addition to expanding the toy shop we have recently opened our very own ceramic studio too, but don’t worry there are still plenty of toys about to play with to keep the children occupied especially on these rainy days we seem to be having.
Indeed for those rainy days we have a lovely range of rainwear from Kidorable, how about a pair of fireman wellies or a ladybird raincoat, to keep your little ones dry when puddle jumping!
We also now stock plenty of toys and gifts for children from birth upwards as well as a lovely range of Christening gifts including the adorable soft toy range from Kaloo, luxury hand made soft leather baby shoes from Inch Blue and the recently launched Hungry Caterpillar silverware range from Portmerion to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the much loved children’s book.
As well as lots of new ranges we are also still stocking the same great brands such as Playmobil, Orchard Toys, Sylvanian Families and Bigjigs Rail only now our ranges are even bigger. In fact this year we have achieved collector’s status for our fantastic range of Sylvanian Families.
So whether you are looking for a whoozit or a winkle, a puppet or a puzzle we are sure we can help you find something that will delight and entertain your children. So why not pop in and say hello, you’ll still be greeted with a warm welcome and as we now also offer a selection of hot and cold drinks and snacks you can rest your feet and have a coffee and a chat while your children play or paint in our studio.*
