Pownalls is our very own fine food and cook shop - a store cupboard of delicious delights hard to resist. Our aim is to bring you the best locally sourced, fresh produce, all the basic essentials plus an array of speciality foods to indulge and delight.
Mouth watering yet? Well it doesn’t end there, for delicious cheeses, olives, cooked meats and pate visit our deli counter. If there’s too much choice, try a sample of what you fancy first to help make up your mind.
In the cook shop we have everything from utensils, crockery, cutlery, glassware, picnicware, placemats and storage jars, choosing from the best of ranges like Maxwell Williams, Typhoon, Kitchen Craft and T&G Woodware.
Pownalls really does offer a bounty of irresistible delights.
Childsplay
Childsplay, our very own toyshop, has now been open for over a year. Following a successful launch in 2008 it was decided to re-launch the shop this Easter in bigger premises and it is now located at the back of the plant area in the large wooden building next to the play area. In addition to expanding the toy shop we have recently opened our very own ceramic studio too, but don’t worry there are still plenty of toys about to play with to keep the children occupied.
For those rainy days we have a lovely range of rainwear from Kidorable, how about a pair of fireman wellies or a ladybird raincoat, to keep your little ones dry when puddle jumping!
We also now stock plenty of toys and gifts for children from birth upwards as well as a lovely range of Christening gifts including the adorable soft toy range from Kaloo, luxury hand made soft leather baby shoes from Inch Blue and the recently launched Hungry Caterpillar silverware range from Portmerion to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the much loved children’s book.
As well as lots of new ranges we are also still stocking the same great brands such as Playmobil, Orchard Toys, Sylvanian Families and Bigjigs Rail only now our ranges are even bigger. In fact this year we have achieved collector’s status for our fantastic range of Sylvanian Families.
